Aging and Health

It hit me in my early sixties when I could no longer shingle a roof without stopping to rest every 20 minutes. And prior to that, in my fifties, my legs couldn’t haul me up the ice fast enough to catch the guy that just flew by me – Gordie Howe I ain’t. The physical wear was accompanied by slowing mental capacity with problems remembering names and phone numbers. Many of us are prepared to accept the inevitable – I’m not! There is much that can be done physically and mentally to slow aging down and perhaps even return some of our vitality. This page examines health and aging issues not from a medical perspecive (although important as well) but from a life-style and education perspective. So again, share your related ideas and experiences so we can all try to live a little bit better.
