Canada is a cold place once the leaves fall and the north winds blow.  And, of course, most of us plan to spend more time in warmer climes whether that be buying a place in Florida or renting a villa in Mexico.  The options are endless and this page seeks to explore just some of these options and do it, as much as possible,  from a personal perspective.  So we’re looking for real experience and real Canadian lessons learned.  Posts in response to A place in the sun page can describe your experience buying, renting, RVing or even sailing the southern seas.
